Get Ready to Cheer at the Weiner Dog Derby
The 30th Annual Zwolle Loggers & Forestry Festival is scheduled for Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, 2026. This community event honors the local logging and forestry industry in Zwolle, Louisiana, with a variety of family-friendly activities and professional demonstrations. And, the coveted Weiner Dog Derby is just a tip of the iceberg when it comes to the fun lineup of events. A downtown parade takes place on Saturday morning, contests & activities like professional sawing contests, a logging skills competition, and the popular Mud Bog event.
