Green Acres Fishing Lodge is located on nearly 16 acres in a deep-water cove off eastern San Miguel Bay on the Louisiana side of Toledo Bend Reservoir. The gated waterfront property offers three cabin rentals for groups of different sizes, along with a bed-and-breakfast option for couples or solo guests.
The bed-and-breakfast is located in the master bedroom of the main house and includes a king-size bed, personal TV and private bathroom. Guests also have access to the main house, game room, boathouse, boat launch, floating sun/swim deck and covered patio. Shared amenities include a pool table, shuffleboard, game table, seven leather recliners and an 80-inch television.
A hot breakfast is included with the B&B stay. Guests who begin their day early may arrange in advance for a late breakfast or lunch.
The Bird’s Nest, Tiger’s Den and Rooster’s Roost offer accommodations for groups of different sizes. The rentals include linens, towels, furnished kitchens, Dish TV and outdoor grilling areas. Guests are responsible for bringing their own toiletries.
Green Acres offers shoreline and outdoor sitting areas for relaxing, picnicking and enjoying views of Toledo Bend. Electrical outlets are available for charging boat batteries. Property amenities include a complimentary boat launch, boathouse pavilion, fish-cleaning station, floating sun/swim deck and trapeze swing.
Guests can fish from the dock or shoreline and use the lodge’s two canoes and two fishing kayaks free of charge. Fishing-guide information is also available through the Green Acres website.
