Registration for the Sixteenth Annual Youth Fish Fest --The registration deadline is April 30:
The sixteenth annual Toledo Bend Lake Association (TBLA) and Sabine Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Fish Fest will be held June 7 at the Sabine River Authority’s Cypress Bend Park.
The registration deadline is April 30. If you would like to participate and need a registration form call the office at 318-256-3491. Registration forms can be mailed to or dropped off at our office Sabine SWCD 570 HWY 171 Bypass, Many, LA 71449.
We hope to have approximately 130 youth fishermen pre-registered and fishing the banks on Saturday, June 7. Pre-registered fishermen need to check in at the registration table for meal tickets, ditty bags and t-shirts. Fishing time begins at 7:30 a.m., weigh-in time will be at 11 a.m. The event is open to school age children registered in kindergarten through 12th grade for the school year 2024-2025 attending schools in Louisiana and Texas. There will be six specie categories for first, second, and third place. Specie categories are bass, bream, catfish, white perch, turtle, and other. All 130 fishermen must be pre-registered by the April 30 deadline to participate
