A Jerry Lee Lewis tribute is coming to Sabine Parish by "Three Days in Ferriday." All of the public is invited to attend, admission fees are by donation only. The unique storytelling of events surrounding the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Jerry Lee Lewis, will be presented by Michael Kuk, the King of Swamp Pop and Chief of the Keyboards. Kuk is a proud native of Western Louisiana. The presentation will recount his first-hand experience of the historical weekend surrounding the visitation and final solemn honors rendered to the musical legend in his hometown through a slideshow, detailed dialogue, and music. Kuk will be playing rare and unknown songs of 'The Killer' toward the end of the program, concluding with a solemn but beautiful arrangement of 'Amazing Grace', that he played as Jerry Lee Lewis crossed the threshold of the funeral home's chapel and was carried to his burial in a snow-white hearse. Kuk's performance was the only live music performed during the funeral by special request of the Lewis family, and he is coming to share the experience with all of you. You are invited to come and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime event highlighting Louisiana's musical history and pay tribute to Louisiana's legendary Jerry Lee Lewis.
