The idea of homesteading has become very popular, and people are trying more and more to get back to their roots and learn these survival arts. We invite you out to Fort Jesup to participate in a program designed to teach and talk about the history of food preservation on the frontier.
This program will include demonstrations on food canning and preservation in both civilian homesteads and on the Fort itself. We will also demonstrate modern canning and preservation techniques used today!
Time: 10am-3pm
