***The 2013 Black Heritage Festival has been cancelled for this year only.
Juneteenth is a day of reflection, a day of renewal, a pride-filled day. It is a moment in time taken to appreciate the African American experience. It is inclusive of all races, ethnicity and nationalities. Festivities include a parade, praise and worship singing extravaganza, story telling, games, pig roast, and a car show. It is a day that young and old come together to celebrate community achievement.
