Star Gazing 101

Star Gazing 101

Join us on June 30th at Hodges Gardens State Park 8 pm - 10 pm for Star Gazing 101!

Bob Nolen will lead an introductory program looking at the prominent constellations, stars, and star clusters visible in June. Star gazing will take place at the big Red Barn on the western loop road of the Park. Plan to arrive before 8:00 and come prepared with chairs, insect repellent, and refreshments you might like. Bob will have several telescopes set up for use, but individuals may bring their own telescopes as well. This is a free event, but regular Park admission fees apply. You must register to participate. The group is capped at 25 in order to allow for full participation so be sure to register early.
